 BRISTOL, UNITED KINGDOM - TRIP is Andy Hunter (DJ) and Martin King (Programmer).  TRIP is based in Bristol, working out of City Studios and is part of Engage - the people responsible for Hydro (Spiritualization & Aborigination) and dBa (Bubble).

Andy Hunter has been resident DJ since 1997at the Creation Club Night in Bristol.  He recently toured in Germany where the Drum and Bass scene is now beginning to emerge from the underground.

Martin King is a "studio hermit" spending every waking hour in Engage's City Studios alongside Robbie Bronniman (Hydro/dBa). 

Andy Hunter explains the title and focus: Cultural Shift itself is about the post modernist culture which this nation is shifting into.  Rather than just hearing the truth and then becoming a Christian, people now say "That's all right for you, but it's not for me, thanks."  Young people are just out there looking for different experiences, so we say "Let them experience God."  We pray with them and lead them in worship to show them God, and hopefully then they will make a commitment.

With recent Mercury Music Prize for new artist (the UK equivalent of the Grammy) deservedly going to Bristol-based Drum and Bass outfit Reprazent (Roni Size) the timing couldn't be better for the launch of TRIP.  Like Reprazent, TRIP is pioneering the Drum and Bass vibe that's coming out of Bristol, UK.

TRIP's new tracks feature the fresh vocals of recently discovered singing sensation Tanya Farthing.  The future looks bright for TRIP!
